I am getting very pleased concerning our progress so far. All this news is good and we have five registration forms and checks sent already. I will deposit the check that I received today in our bank account tomorrow morning. The next face-to-face meeting will be Friday, May 1, 2009 at 7pm at The Heathers. Jesse and Suzie will be there along with Geri and me and Alma and John. Dianne Coppenhaiver Gucciardi will try to be there. Stan and his wife should be there because Stan has been the first one at all of the meetings that we have had so far. Anyone else who gets this message is welcome to attend and I encourage you to come. We'll discuss "marketing our 50th" etc. What a great job Bruce is doing with the website. Phyllis is working hard too. Please send your registrations in as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

 We are finalizing our plans. Stan Walker, Jesse Seibert, and Alma Mills have been working with me so far.  Others have volunteered their help and ideas. We have used them. The event will be August 14 Get Together about 6pm, August 15 Golf,Tennis, Swimming or Sunning or both the day & Buffet and Program and Video during the evening starting about 6pm. We will have the registration form out by the end of this week I think. The events will be at The Heathers Club of Bloomfield Hills that is walking distance from the Marriott Hotel where we plan to get a special rate of $79/night. The registration will probably be $50/person that includes the meals on August 14 and 15 and other stuff.

There will be a meeting tomorrow, Friday 3/27/2009 at 6pm at the Heathers of Bloomfield for completing the menus for the 14th and 15th of August as well as continuing work on the registration form. Jesse Seibert should have the menu item selections ready for discussion and Stan Walker should have the registration form somewhat completed, and Alma Pendleton Mills should have some additional information about our previous reunions. We intend to sign the contract with the Heathers. Jackie Griffin has or will be asked to come to the meeting. Everybody is welcome to come to the meeting to share ideas and see the Heathers. The Heathers is at 900 Upper Scotsborough in Bloomfield Hills 248-334-9770. See you there.

 The contract with the Heathers was signed about an hour ago. The Friday night (8/14/09) and Saturday (8/15/09) menus have been picked, thanks to Suzie Seibert and Geri Munson. I will send out some registration forms to some people that I know who have been waiting for them. Let's see who the first person will be to send in a registration. And let's publicize who registers so we can use that as advertisement for others.
